By downloading and purchasing Asset Union assets, you are granted a license to use the files for specific purposes under certain conditions.
Personal license
Allows you to use purchased and downloaded assets for non-commercial projects. For personal use only.
✅ Can be used for:
End products not for sale or distribution.
Personal social media account
Personal portfolio website
Personal physical items not for sale
Presentations and materials for non-commercial use (e.g. educational)
❌ Can't be used for:
End products for sale or distribution.
Business websites
Web, desktop and mobile applications.
Business social media accounts.
Physical or digital advertising.
Physical product packaging.
Commercial license
Allows you to use purchased and downloaded assets for commercial projects with certain limitations. For individuals and teams.
✅ Can be used for
End products not for sale or distribution.
Business websites
Web, desktop and mobile applications.
Business social media accounts.
Physical or digital advertising.
Internal company products not for sale. Example: Using Licensed Assets as a print on corporate merch T-shirt.
❌ Can't be used for:
End products for sale.
Example: Template design using Licensed assets for sale on marketplaces as digital goods.
Design software where end users can use Licensed Assets to create their own design products. An example is a digital whiteboard product where users can use the product library to select and paste Licensed Assets.
Physical product packaging for sale.
Extended Commercial license
Allows you to use purchased and downloaded assets for commercial projects. For individuals and teams.
✅ Can be used for:
End products for sale or distribution
All types of commercial digital products.
All types of physical and digital advertisements.
❌ Can't be used for:
Reselling or distributing the licensed assets.
Prohibited uses for all license types
❌ You can't:
Resale or Sub-Licensing the Licensed Asset or any modification of it in source file form is strictly prohibited.
Making public or sharing the Licensed Asset in any way that allows others to download, extract, or redistribute it as a standalone file.
For example: Share the licensed assets in the Figma Community.
Falsely representing authorship and/or ownership of the Licensed Asset is strictly prohibited.
Sharing the Licensed Asset using publicly available links.
Share the Figma file with Anyone who can view the sharing settings.
